Hawaii Opera Theater honored for fiscal management

Hawaii Opera Theatre received Charity Navigator's highest 4-star rating for sound fiscal management for fiscal year 2006.Charity Navigator is a nonprofit organization that evaluates the financial health of thousands of U.S. charities.
"It's really great to know that the people of Hawaii support the arts and continue to perpetuate the tradition of opera. Receiving a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator is truly an honor that also enables the public to know that their donations are being used efficiently and are serving a great cause," said Karen Tiller, HOT's executive director.
