Costco reports total sales increased to $5B in July

Costco Wholesale Corp. reported net sales of $5.02 billion in July, an 11 percent increase from a year earlier. The Issaquah, Wash.-based retailer operates six of its warehouse-like stores in Hawai'i, including the sales leader for the entire 513-store chain.The company said same store sales rose 6 percent in the U.S.
