Don Tiki debuts as Andy Bumatai's house band on KFVE

Advertiser Staff

Comedian Andy Bumatai's new week-night talk show, "NightTime with Andy Bumatai" has just tapped Don Tiki to be its house band. The neo-exotica combo makes its debut tonight at 9:35 p.m. on KFVE, immediately following the K5 News at Nine.

"NightTime" features local and visiting celebrities and acts — think Island-style David Letterman.

Bumatai says the scope of "NightTime" will catch a lot of people by surprise. "Although you'll definitely sense a local Hawai'i flavor on the show, 'NightTime' is going to have a classic network-style look and feel that's both comfortable and edgy at the same time. We're going to have everybody who's anybody on this show. With all of the great talent coming in and out of Hawai'i these days, 'NightTime' will fill that void." Bumatai says "NightTime" is about keeping people entertained. "I've been building toward something like this my entire career. So, buckle up. ... it's definitely going to be a thrill ride every night!"

On Monday, August 13, and every Friday thereafter, Don Tiki will do a special segment.
