Meeting on Kekaha Landfill expansion today

The Public Works Department has scheduled a public informational meeting today on its proposed lateral expansion of the Kekaha Landfill.The session will start at 7 p.m. at Waimea Neighborhood Center.
A draft environmental assessment, which outlines the project, is available for review at the Waimea and Lihue public libraries.
Public comment assessment will be accepted through Aug. 24.
