School to benefit from 'Seeds of Service' effort

Advertiser Staff

American Savings Bank employees will beautify Ala Wai School on Sunday as part of their "Planting 80 Seeds of Service" campaign.

The school was chosen as one of 80 statewide for the program, which runs through Aug. 19. Employees were broken up into 80 teams and asked to pick a school in their community to "plant a seed."

The beautification projects range from planting trees to painting railings or benches. The annual campaign is meant to form a relationship between employees and their communities.
