Jellyfish warnings still in place on south, west shores

Advertiser Staff

The influx of box jellyfish dropped significantly yesterday compared to Wednesday, but Ocean Safety is continuing its box jellyfish warning today.

Only five box jellyfish were counted in Waikiki yesterday and 20 on the Wai'anae Coast. On Wednesday, more than 1,000 had washed ashore at Makaha and 500 had been counted in Waikiki and Ala Moana.
