HAWAI'I KAI
New date slated for blood drive

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i Blood Bank's blood drive at Hawai'i Kai Towne Center on Keahole Street has been rescheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17.

Initially the drive was set for Sunday, but a scheduling conflict arose and the blood bank decided that the new date would be better.

Traditionally, Hawai'i Kai residents show strong support for the blood bank, said agency spokesman Marvin Nitta.

To donate, you must be in good health, at least 18 years of age, weigh more than 110 pounds and bring a valid photo ID.

An appointment is recommended by calling 845-9966.
