Sunny, warm weather expected to last into new week

Advertiser Staff

Trade wind weather will likely persist into early next week as a high pressure area remains north of the islands, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Clouds and showers will favor windward and mauka areas, forecasters said.

A trade wind increase on Sunday may prompt small craft advisories.

What is now Hurricane Flossie is expected to pass south of the islands as a tropical storm Tuesday and Wednesday.
