Man charged with May burglary in Waianae

Advertiser Staff

Prosecutors charged a 47-year-old man with first-degree burglary stemming from an incident in May at a Wai'anae-area beach park.

David A. Notartomaso, who has no permanent local address, allegedly entered the tent of a man, 47, at 10 a.m. on May 3, struck him in the face with a cane and then threw a beer bottle that caused a cut to the elbow requiring stitches, police said.

Notartomaso was located and arrested Friday night on the 83-400 block of Farrington Highway.

He was charged yesterday at 5:30 p.m. and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
