NFL: Satele starts in game that features 5 Isle players

Advertiser Staff

Former University of Hawaii star Samson Satele, a rookie for Miami, started at center for the Dolphins in an 18-17 win over Jacksonville yesterday in an exhibition NFL game that featured five Hawaii players.

Two other former Warriors — fullback Reagan Mauia and offensive tackle Tala Esera — saw action in the game at Dolphin Stadium.

Starting for the Jaguars were left guard Vince Manuwai, a former Warrior, and right guard Chris Naeole, a former Kahuku star who played collegiately at Colorado.
