Nanakuli man charged with drug, firearm offenses

Prosecutors yesterday charged a Nanakuli man with firearm and drug offenses.Samiu Michael Palusami, 25, who has a 2002 conviction for firearm and auto theft, is accused of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor firearm offense.
His bail is $15,000.
Palusami was arrested Thursday on the 87-700 block of Farrington Highway with a 21-year-old Daniel K. Cruz, who has no permanent local address.
Palusami and Cruz are each being held on outstanding $750 warrants.
