Man, 25, critically hurt in Kakaako nightclub stabbing

A 25-year-old man was reported in critical condition following a stabbing outside a Kaka'ako-area nightclub early this morning.An arrest has been made and detectives have opened an attempted murder investigation in the case, police said.
Police said the victim was "mobbed" as he left the nightclub near Pensacola and Kona streets shortly before 4 a.m. He was stabbed several times in the chest in the melee that followed.
A 21-year-old suspect who fled in a car headed north on Pi'ikoi Street was arrested shortly afterward, police said.
The victim was taken to The Queen's Medical Center.
