Running: Morocco's Kaouch fails doping test, suspended

RABAT, Morocco — Moroccan runner Adil Kaouch was suspended for failing a doping test at a Golden League meet last month in Rome.Kaouch, who won the 1,500-meter race at the July 13 meet, has been provisionally suspended by the IAAF, the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation said today. The federation didn't disclose the nature of the doping violation.
Kaouch is awaiting the results of the B sample, and is continuing to prepare for this month's world championships in Osaka, Japan.
