Rainbow Wahine volleyball 10th in preseason poll

The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team is ranked 10th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll.This is the third-straight year, and the seventh time in the last eight seasons, that the Rainbow Wahine (29-6 last year) open in the top 10.
Defending national-champion Nebraska is ranked first, receiving 53 first-place votes, followed by Stanford.
Western Athletic Conference member New Mexico State was three spots out of the Top 25, receiving 104 votes.
Hawai'i opens its season with Michigan on Aug. 24 in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
