Assault investigation leads to arrest in Kapolei

Police today arrested a 21-year-old man for questioning about an assault in May outside a Honolulu restaurant.The arrest for second-degree assault was made in HPD's District 8 (Kapolei-Wai'anae) at 2:20 p.m. after the suspect was located and identified by the woman victim.
Police said the woman, 21, suffered a broken jaw after she was punched in the face while trying to break up a fight on May 19 at 12:43 a.m.
