Nondisaster response workers on Big Isle have day off

Advertiser Staff

State employees on the Big Island who are designated "Non Disaster Response Workers" have been told not to report to work today because of potential damage caused by Flossie.

Those designated "Disaster Response Workers" are expected to report.

Employees unsure of their status should contact their department's Civil Defense Coordinator or personnel office.
