'Greek Week' in Honolulu to honor annual fest

Mayor Mufi Hannemann will today proclaim next week "Greek Week" in Honolulu in honor of the two-day 27th Annual Greek Festival, set to begin Aug. 25 at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Park.The proclamation signing will be held at 3 this afternoon at Honolulu Hale. A Greek dance group made up of children from Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral will perform wearing traditional Greek costumes.
