With Flossie gone, trade winds return

A high-pressure system far north of the Islands will maintain light to moderate trade winds through early next week, the National Weather Service said, and clouds and showers carried by the winds will affect the Islands at times, particularly on the windward and mountain sections.There is still some lingering moisture from Flossie with most of the heavy rain occurring offshore south of Kaua'i.
