Car reportedly hits worker near University H-1 exit

Emergency responders have been sent to the off-ramp that leads from the west-bound lanes of H-1 Freeway to University Avenue where a car reportedly struck a person operating a weed whacker.The incident was reported about 9:35 a.m.
No information was immediately available on the extent of the injury, if any, to the person who was hit.
