UH orientation week resumes

University of Hawai'i at Hilo is open today following a two-day closure due to Hurricane Flossie.

Several orientation week events rescheduled for today include a math placement exam from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in UCB 101 and 102; and general advising sessions from 10 to 11:15 a.m. for new students, UCB 114; 10 to 11:15 a.m. for transfer/returning students, UCB 112; and 2 to 3 p.m. for all students, UCB 100.

Peer Assistant Linkages & Support (PALS) orientation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Campus Center 301. The meeting time for "Lu'au Under the Stars" is 2:45 p.m. at the Campus Center turn-around for 'Imiloa Astronomy Center tour.
