Actress Tamara Podemski, who took the special jury prize for acting at this year's Sundance Film Festival, will be at the third annual Hawai'inuiakea: Native Film Showcase, which takes place today and tomorrow at the Hawaii Convention Center and the University of Hawai'i-Manoa.

Screenings start at 6 p.m. — and are free. Podemski will introduce her latest film, "Four Sheets to the Wind" (which earned her her prize), when it screens on Thursday. It's just one of a strong lineup of works by Hawaiian and other indigenous filmmakers.

Also featured will be musical and theatrical performance, workshops and panel discussions.
