Prospect Asset Management ups stake in Japanese REIT

Prospect Asset Management, Inc., a Hawai'i Kai-based investment fund that specializes in Japanese securities, increasedits holdings of real estate investment trust FC Residential Investment Co. (FCR) to 40.98 percent from 39.68 percent,
according to Bloomberg News, quoting a filing at Japan's Ministry of Finance.
Prospect is FCR's biggest shareholder, with 13,401 shares, Bloomberg reported.
