Big Island brushfire 90 percent contained

The brushfire that's burned more than 137 acres in the South Kahala District of the Big Island is 90 percent contained and firefighters are continuing to fight the blaze this morning, the Hawai'i County Fire Department said.The brushfire had forced a brief evacuation of residents from Kamuela View Estates yesterday, but they were allowed to return home four hours later.
The fire has been burning since shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday.
