The city and community will join forces this weekend to clean Wailupe and Niu streams as part of the city's Adopt-A-Stream/ Adopt-A-Block program.

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Kilohana United Methodist Church, 5829 Mahimahi St., to do stenciling in 'Aina Haina areas or at 10 a.m. Sunday for a Wailupe Stream cleanup. And volunteers will meet at the Niu Valley Shopping Center at 10 a.m. Sunday for the Niu Stream cleanup.

Volunteers will receive gloves, bags and T-shirts. Wear a hat, sunscreen and dress to get dirty.
