Dolphins focus of free events

A Wild Dolphin Sand Sculpture Contest, sponsored by the Pacific Whale Foundation, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the north end of Keawakapu Beach.

The free event is open to individuals, families and other groups, with prizes awarded in various categories.

On Tuesday, the foundation will offer a free talk and slide show by Marsha Green on "Wild Dolphins and Sonar" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. as part of its Making Waves Lecture Series.

The presentation will be at the Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center, downstairs at The Harbor Shops at Ma'alaea.
