KAPOLEI
Bloodmobile to be at festival

Advertiser Staff

Donors are needed to give blood to the Blood Bank of Hawaii's Bloodmobile when it rolls into West O'ahu as part of the Kapolei Sunset Festival activities today.

The Bloodmobile will be available today only and not during the festival's open hours tomorrow.

There is a dire need for certain types of blood on O'ahu right now, and only 10 of an anticipated 50 people had signed up, said state Rep. Sharon Har, D-40th (Royal Kunia, Makakilo, Kapolei). Those interested should call Jonell Correia at 848-4753.

Donors should get a good night's rest, drink lots of fluids and not take Advil less than 72 hours before donating.
