You have to pay $30 to get in, but once you're at Fashionista's Market's Closet Swap, you could score cool new (to you) clothes in exchange for items you don't want anymore.

Here's how it works: Bring gently used or new clothing that you no longer want or wear. The Fashionista's Market crew sorts the goods, puts them out and then it's catch as catch can. There will also be a variety of girly attractions: massages and luxury hair product deals from Elements Spa & Salon, T-shirt re-make craft project by Allison Izu (bring your own T-shirt), mini-makeovers by Flaunt Makeovers, cookie decorating by Cookies By Design, hair makeover workshop by Ulupono Academy Salon and networking booths by Social Wahines & Venture Club of Honolulu, raffle prize giveaways.

Best of all, proceeds go to the Leeward Domestic Abuse Shelter.

Details: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (the actual swapping happens noon to 2 p.m.), Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i, $30, http://fashionistasmarket.com.
