Oahu east-side surf returning to normal levels

Storm swells driven by the former Hurricane Flossie have run out and the surf along O'ahu's eastern shore will return to a more moderate level of 2 to 4 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere , forecasters expect surf of 2 to4 feet along south-facing shores and 2 feet or less along west- and north-facing shores.

Smallish south swells are expected to continue through the week while a small northwest swell is due in Wednesday evening.
