Puuloa Road improvement projects to continue

Road improvements on Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard are continuing from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily this week, the state Department of Transportation said.

The repairs and closures include utility line splicing that will close the single right-turn lane from Pu'uloa Road to Salt Lake Boulevard and:

  • Left lane closure in the south-bound direction near Kilihau Street for utility line splicing;

  • Single lane closure in the north-bound direction near Kilihau Street for utility line installation;

  • Shoulder lanes in both directions will be closed and no roadside parking will be permitted.
