Pro volleyball player Reece wants to help U.S. get fit

Associated Press

LOS ANGELES — Pro volleyball player and model Gabrielle Reece wants to help Americans get fit.

She's helped develop a new line of workout DVD kits called "Bell Express 15" to hit retail outlets this fall.

Reece and trainer Mike Monroe designed the kits to easily get people started on an exercise program. Each kit includes an instructional DVD, workout equipment like weights, body balls, wobble board and jump ropes, and a three-function pedometer.

"The number one excuse Americans use for not exercising is that they have no time," Reece said today. "And when they do exercise, most don't know where to begin. Mike and I fashioned the workouts so they would be effective no matter if you are a beginner or an expert."

In the DVDs, Reece and Monroe guide viewers through five different workouts including strength, cardio, fit and slim, core training and a 30-day challenge.
