Affordable housing meeting on Oahu set for today

Advertiser Staff

Several entities interested in buying city-owned affordable housing projects set to go on the market will gather this afternoon to present their qualifications to tenants.

The meeting at the Hawai'i Convention Center is meant to give tenants a better understanding of the sell-off process and help them learn more about the non- and for-profit entities interested in the properties. The free workshop is organized by OH-NO, a group of tenants who live in city projects. In all, there are 12 projects on O'ahu.

The city has said the projects will go on the market in phases.

The meeting will be held in Room 306A at the convention center.

It is set to run from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow.
