Kauai metals recycling center reopens after fire

Advertiser Staff

Kaua'i County officials have announced that Puhi Metals Recycling Center, also known as Abe's Auto Recyclers, has reopened today and is accepting motor vehicles and white goods.

A portion of the center where auto parts are sold remains closed, however, as personnel are clearing the nearby areas that were affected by a fire yesterday.

For more information, contact the county's Solid Waste Division at 808-241-6861.
