Best surf on east shores until northwest swell arrives

Advertiser Staff

Surf along east-facing shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet today while surf along other shores isn't expected to hit more than 3 feet at best, the National Weather Service said.

A small, short-period northwest swell may arrive late today or early Wednesday. This swell is expected to linger through Thursday. A new small to moderate south swell arriving Wednesday is expected to continue through Thursday.

Today, surf along south-facing shores will be 1 foot to 3 feet and surf along west and north shores will be 2 feet or less.
