Scattered showers, diminishing trade winds expected

The National Weather Service forecast calls for moderate trade winds to diminish slowly across the state through the middle of the week. Rainfall, at the same time, will be limited to sprinkles over the windward slopes with a few showers leeward in the afternoon.The weekend looks wetter, according to the National Weather Service.
