Jazz program to benefit La Pietra

Shari Lynn and Jimmy Borges will share the limelight from 5:30 p.m. Sept. 16 in a Sunset Jazz, Etc. program at La Pietra.
Saloon Pilots, a new group, also will perform gypsy jazz.
The event, on the Great Lawn of La Pietra, is a benefit for educational programs at the college-preparatory Hawaii School for Girls on the Diamond Head campus.
Tickets are $35 individual; $280 for tables of eight; the cost ($15 tax deductible) includes wine, coffee and dessert. Also, a catered dinner for eight by Tyna & Co. is available for $100.
