Injured driver arrested on drug, firearm offenses

A 26-year-old man injured in an motor vehicle accident last night was arrested at The Queen's Medical Center for allegedly being in possession of drugs and firearms.The man was arrested at 9:10 p.m. for felony first- and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, misdemeanor second-degree promotion of a harmful drug, petty misdemeanor second-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, and firearm offenses.
Security found the gun and drugs in a search of the man's backpack and notified police.
