Identity theft suspect arrested in Kaneohe raid

Police today arrested a 45-year-old Lanikai woman in a raid on a Kane'ohe area residence for investigation of over 20 counts of offenses related to identity theft.

The woman was arrested at 45-270 Waikalua Rd. at 10:45 a.m. by Windward O'ahu Crime Reduction Unit officers. She was booked for 10 counts each of second-degree forgery and misdemeanor third-degree identity theft.

The woman was also arrested for third-degree theft, three counts of unauthorized possession of confidential information, detention of stolen property, second-degree identity theft, and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

The woman has 14 prior convictions, according to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records.
