5.1 earthquake hits Mindanao area of the Philippines

Nine earthquakes with a magnitude of 2.5 or greater have been reported so far today worldwide, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Center.The largest of the quakes, assigned a preliminary magnitude of 5.1, occurred in the Mindanao area of the Philippines at 9:07 a.m Hawai'i time.
There have been no reports so far of injuries or damage from the temblor that struck about 550 miles south-southeast of Manila at a depth of 38.5 miles.
