Kapaa stretch of Kauai highway reopens after fire

Kaua'i police have reopened a portion of Kuhio Highway in Kapa'a near the Ono Family Restaurant that was closed earlier this afternoon due to a small fire at the eatery, county officials announced.Officials began redirecting northbound traffic at about 1:25 p.m. to Ulu Road. Southbound traffic was rerouted to Kukui Street.
