Police offer citizens' patrol training in Ewa Beach

'Ewa Beach residents are invited to a community meeting tonight at 'Ewa Beach Public and School Library. At the meeting, police officers from District 8 will give training on how to set up neighborhood watch and citizens' patrols.

The event is sponsored by state Rep. Kymberly Pine, R-43 ('Ewa Beach, Iroquois Point, Pu'uloa).

Residents in several Ocean Pointe communities set up citizens' patrols and neighborhood watches following a series of garage break-ins this year.
