Phillies activate Maui's Shane Victorino

Shane Victorino has been activated from the disabled list and is batting sixth while playing right field today for the Philadelphia Phillies against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers.The 26-year-old Maui native strained his right calf July 30 trying to beat out a double play. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list July 31.
Victorino is batting .284 with career highs in home runs (11), runs scored (72) and stolen bases (32).
