TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"CNN Reports: God's Warriors," 3 p.m., CNN. In the mid-section of her three-night series, Christiane Amanpour travels the Muslim world, including her native Iran. She gives a deep, balanced look at the impact of religious zeal.

"Anchorwoman" debut, 7 p.m., Fox. Lauren Jones, bright and educated, steps into a news anchor job at a struggling TV station in Tyler, Texas. Alas, she has no journalism background. She's been a bikini model, a "Price is Right" model and a wrestling-night diva. Hiring her puts a spotlight on the worst trait of TV news — surface over substance. We could condemn this reality show for that ... or praise it for spotlighting the trend. Much of "Anchorwoman" seems contrived, especially when Jones shows up for work in a low-cut, tiger-stripe shirt. Still, there's some humor here, plus food for thought.

OF NOTE

"Rescue Me," 7 p.m., FX. The Gavins start Alcoholics Anonymous. Also, Lou ponders revenge on his cousin.

"Ice Princess" (2005), 8 p.m., ABC Family. Can someone use math-and-science smarts to become a champion figure skater? Maybe not, but that's what happens in this film. Michelle Trachtenberg ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") stars; Hayden Panettiere had a supporting role, before being lifted to a new level by "Heroes."

"Last Comic Standing," 8 p.m., NBC. Last week, veteran comic Ralph Harris survived a close challenge, sending Matt Kirshen and Doug Benson home. Harris is one of the final five who perform tonight, with viewers voting. Others: Lavell Crawford, Gerry Dee, Jon Reep and Amy Schumer.

"Bones," 8 p.m., Fox. When a body is found on the roof of the federal building, there are complications for Booth and Brennan. In a separate story, Kathy Reichs (the real-life model for the Brennan character) plays a professor.

"CSI: NY," 9 p.m. NBC. A marathon runner has died with signs of frostbite. This seems suspicious, because the temperature was in the 90s.
