Ewa Beach school counselor assaulted by parent

A 44-year-old 'Ewa Beach man arrested yesterday for allegedly lifting up a school counselor and threatening to kill him remains in police custody today pending investigation for charges.

The man was arrested at his Papipi Drive residence at 7:40 p.m.

and booked for second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening.

The incident occurred at a school in 'Ewa Beach, police said.

The man was angry that a 40-year-old male counselor advised his son to spend less time with his girlfriend and more time studying at school, police said. He allegedly went to the school to confront the counselor.
