Senor Frog's grand opening set Wednesday in Waikiki

Advertiser Staff

Honolulu's new Seņor Frog's restaurant will hold its public grand opening in Waikiki next week with a fundraiser for Hawai'i Meals On Wheels

The new chain eatery, located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, will hold the opening event from 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday at a cost of $25 donation available by pre-sale or at the door based on availability.

Restaurant officials said guests will receive Seņor Frog's party favors, and drink and pupu specials. And there will be a live concert by Vaihi (7 p.m.), Ooklah The Moc (10 p.m.) and other special guests.

There also will be an appearance by TV personality and now best-selling author Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman (at 8 p.m.) as well as a mariachi band and prize giveaways. Up to two minors will be let in free with each parent or guardian.

Seņor Frog's will remain open until 4 a.m., after the event, for late-night dining, cocktails and dancing, as usual.
