Ceschi and David Ramos at Anna Bannana's tonight

Advertiser Staff

They were born in New Jersey, but watch how you say their names — it's Ceschi (pronounced chess-key, as in short for Francesco) and David (pronounced Da-VEED) Ramos. The multigenre, multitalented brothers are part of a half-dozen projects, including the band Toca, whose music can bring to mind everyone from The Monochrome Set to Tito Puente — all melded into their own singular sound. The duo is in town and you can check them out at Anna Bannana's tonight. Also in the mix: Listener, Black Square, The Malcognitas, Rhyme The Old Man, Nabahe the Band and Brainstorming Weather.

Show: 9 p.m.; $8 presale at Well Bento, $10 at the door; 384-5706.
