HTA partners with Native Hawaiian group

The Hawai'i Tourism Authority has partnered with the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement as a way to support Hawaiian cultural projects.

The new partnership ties into a key initiative from the authority's strategic plan. The Council will work to provide training and assistance to community organizations seeking support for programs that preserve the Hawaiian culture.

The tourism authority provides funding to various organizations for projects that meet the necessary criteria and proposals will be accepted until Oct. 12.
