Superferry offers $5 fares Sunday through Sept. 5

The Hawaii Superferry will launch two days ahead of schedule on Sunday with $5 one-way tickets for passengers and $5 one-way tickets for vehicles, the company announced today.The special rates apply only for travel from Sunday through Sept. 5 and must be booked online or through the company's call center beginning at 6 a.m. tomorrow.
There is no tax or surcharge on the $5 rates, said John Garibaldi, president and CEO of Hawaii Superferry.
The reduced-fare trips will be limited to 500 passengers and 150 vehicles.
