Tutors needed at Lincoln Elementary

Advertiser Staff

Lincoln Elementary School is looking for tutors to participate in its "I Can Read" program.

Volunteers commit only one to two hours a week, after attending a mandatory training session.

No prior tutoring experience is needed.

Program tutors work one-on-one with kindergarten to fifth-grade students to help them with reading, math and language skills.

Lincoln Elementary is located at 615 Auwaiolimu St., and serves kids from Makiki, Papakolea, Round Top and Tantalus.

For more information, call "I Can Read" program coordinator Dori Kim at 587-4480.
