THE 'LOST' SYMPHONY

The Honolulu Symphony Pops performs the musical score for "Lost" at 8 p.m.

Sept. 22 at the Waikiki Shell. Composer Michael Giacchino will be in attendance, along with cast members who will read. Tickets are $29-$94.

AEROSMITH ON MAUI

Aerosmith, Boston's bad boys of rock, will show people how to walk this way at the Maui County Fair, at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Maui War Memorial Stadium.

Tickets are $125 and $85 for reserved seats, $65 for general admission, and are available at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center box office, online at www.mauiarts.org, and by phone at 808-242-7469.

RICHARD THOMPSON RETURNS FOR THANKSGIVING

Up there with Elvis Costello and Jarvis Cocker when it comes to writing catchy tunes filled with wit and punning, Richard Thompson has been making Hawai'i his regular November pit stop the past few years. Who can forget his rendition of "Oops I Did It Again" for his "1,000 Years of Popular Music" gig at Doris Duke Theatre?

He returns for a Thanksgiving show on Nov. 25 at Paliku Theatre at Windward Community College. Stay tuned for ticket information.
