KAHULUI
Hawaiian plant sale at gardens

Advertiser Staff

Buy Hawaiian plants and learn water-saving xeriscaping techniques at tomorrow's biannual plant sale at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens.

Department of Water Supply representatives will be on hand to provide water conservation tips, and the Maui Association of Landscape Professionals will have an Ask the Expert booth to offer information on watering, pruning, pests and other topics.

Banana and kalo varieties will be on sale, along with 'ohi'a, ferns, 'awa, mamaki, koa, groundcovers and more.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the botanical gardens, at 150 Kanaloa Ave.
